Using the above platforms is a longer route to creating these receipts compared to the method I have in the next paragraph.

You can create a fake PayPal receipt from the PayPal website. This is done through “Page Inspection”.

To do this you need to have a PayPal account and must have performed at least one transaction on it.

If you’re a video person you can watch the below YouTube video which shows the process or you can move to the next paragraph which shows detailed steps to doing that.

Let’s get on with the steps. (I’m using Chrome for this illustration)

  1. Log into your PayPal account.
  2. Scroll down to any transaction you’ve done to the recipient previously and tap on it.
  3. On the transaction page right click on your computer. And scroll down to “Inspect”.
  4. On the code section, tap Ctrl+F, and search for the same figure (in my case 40.00) in the current transaction.
  5. Locate the digit in the code section and edit it to your desired figure. I changed mine to 408.00.
  6. Tap on any part of the screen and the figure is changed on the PayPal transaction part of the screen.
